Description
n-tree chip cards are high-quality data carrier which can be read and write contactlessly. This offers the guests a convenient and simple use of the card, even when carried in a clothes pocket.
Contactless data carriers consists of a antenna for data transmission and a integrated chip. Passive tags require no internal power source, thus being pure passive devices. They are only active when a reader is nearby to power them. When radio waves from the reader are encountered by a passive RFID tag, the coiled antenna within the tag forms a magnetic field. The tag draws power from it, energizing the circuits in the tag. The tag then sends the information encoded in the tag's memory.
Invalid chip cards can be reissued at any time. This reduces the operating costs. For certain circumstances chip cards are superior to barcode tickets, as they are resistant against water and other environmental conditions.

Description
An important task within visitor management is the issuing of entry authorisations in the form of tickets. There are two key aspects to this: the speed that tickets can be issued and the security of their production. The n-tree system excels in both respects. It takes about 0.7 seconds to issue a barcode ticket in credit card format. Production security of the tickets is ensured by the sophisticated interaction between the ACCESS Engine and the n-tree-developed operating system for the ticket printer. Of course a ticket printer is prevented from being controlled by the easily hacked Windows printer driver.
Barcode tickets are the simplest and the most cost-saving type of tickets. All important information are encrypted in the barcode. Each barcode is unique and therefore clearly identifiable inside the system. For a visual control all information can be printed on the ticket.
