We use the term "visitor management system" to describe the generalisation and extension of ordinary till and access control systems. Of course POS and access control solutions are still an important part of our product family. But our product portfolio has expanded to such an extent that the n-tree system is no longer seen by the customer as a mere POS and access control solution.
The visitor management system at the Stegersbach golf and spa resort:
Tills and turnstiles form an important part of the visitor management system at this resort. Once you realise the large number of other systems which work with the tills and turnstile facilities here, it becomes immediately clear that the core functions of our system are to be found elsewhere at this resort. The following "visible" components of n-tree were installed in this project: POS systems, ticket vending and payment machines, access control including card return readers, solarium control devices and wristband media. Furthermore our system forms the nerve-centre around which the complete visitor management system is processed. The n-tree system coordinates all the different parts of the system into a single functioning unit. At the Stegersbach golf & spa resort the following third-party systems are connected to the n-tree system by the interface ACCESS Link: property management (the hotel's PMS system), all gastronomy tills, resource management for the wellness zone, electronic changing room system, financial monitoring, stock control, the electronic door locking system for the hotel rooms etc.
We describe our visitor management system as suitable for use across the leisure industry because we can offer solutions for all sectors of the leisure industry from just one product family. Individual leisure facilities operating in different sectors of the industry can easily realise so-called multi-purpose offers.
For example, a spa could cooperate with a nearby ski resort in joint marketing activities. New offers may attract new customers. Therefore, both systems - at the spa and the ski lift - must function alongside each other. The guest buys a ticket with which he can move effortlessly between both "leisure worlds". This means more convenience and mobility - enjoyment and relaxation without limits! As an operator you can optimise your business processes, develop new market potential and benefit from a joint marketing venture. The n-tree system allocates the takings, produces summary figures and detailed analyses.
