Mariazell establishes a modern European convention centre - the
Mariazeller Europeum. This sees the opening of a new meeting place for
conventions, culture and wellness with fantastic panoramic views. The whole
project was implemented by four municipalities - Mariazell, St. Sebastian,
Gusswerk and Halltal - and the federal state of Styria. Covering an area of 4,500 m² and with a capital expenditure of 11.1 million
euros, a flexible meeting and convention point for 1,200 guests has been
created. The innovative visitor management system from n-tree solutions should
help to make the stay of the guests as comfortable as possible.
A particularly fascinating feature is the combination of the three different
sectors: convention, wellness and an expedition to Europe in the form of a
permanent adventure installation. The visitor can envisage a common European
identity in the shape of 27 young Europeans and their lifestyles, representing
all the States of the European Union. The visitors can discover common roots,
make friends and see the vision of a peaceful Europe.

Mariazeller Europeum GmbH, feels certain. At last! On 01.11.08 the Europeum
Mariazell opened its gates with the latest ticketing and access control
technology by n-tree solutions.
